FINISHED!!!!

After a long winter.... he he ...

my hand quilted piece is ready!

It was very pleasurable to make,

although it took a long time.

But the end result is very pretty.

I'm glad I took this course,

it was really worthwhile.

Finalmente TERMINEI o painel

que estava costurando a mão.

Foi muito gostoso de fazer,

apesar de ter levado muito tempo.

Mas o resultado final está lindo,

realmente valeu a pena fazer esse curso.

That's all I'm doing at the moment.

And I'm actually enjoying it.

Next Monday I'm going to finish it in class.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Estou quiltando o tempo todo.

E estou adorando!

Na próxima segunda vou

terminar esse trabalho na aula.

Mal posso esperar pra ver como vai ficar.

I wanted to know the difference between

machine sewing and handsewing patchwork.
KIKIKITS, where I usually

buy my fabric in Sao Paulo,

offers a lot of crafty classes,

so I enrolled in a four Monday mornings

course and I'm loving it.

We're making a small piece, of course,

but the detailing and the preciousness

of the handcraft are fascinating.

And there's nothing more soothing

than peaceful hand sewing.

Sempre tive vontade de saber a diferença

entre costurar um patchwork à maquina e a mão.

Na KIKIKITS, onde compro tecido quando não importo,

eles dão muitas aulas.

Estou fazendo as aulas de patch a mão,

todas as segundas de manhã.

São só 4 aulas e estou adorando.

O detalhamento é maravilhoso e a delicadeza

do acabamento é fascinante.

E eu adoro a serenidade e a paz de costurar a mão.
