DNP (Disappearing Nine Patch)

I made my first DNP (Disappearing Nine Patch)

Fiz o meu primeiro DNP

I was inspired by http://sewitsfinished.blogspot.com/. It looks so pretty!!!

Fui inspirada pelo blog acima.

Ficou muito lindo!

But it’s soooooo much work! I only made one Nine Patch and already I’m wasted!

Maybe because it’s my first one. Sure don’t know if I’m going to make more of these.

I’ll use this square as a center piece and sew borders around.

 

Meanwhile………..

E nesse meio tempo ...

Pinky sleeps, eats, plays, noses around my work and….. loves the ironing table (sure, it’s warm, who wouldn’t)

Pinky come, dorme, brinca, fuça o meu trabalho e...

adora uma tabuinha de passar (claro, é quentinha, quem não gostaria)

Mas é tanto trabalho! Fiz só um, mas estou morta! Talvez porque tenha sido o primeiro. Não tenho muita certeza de que vou fazer mais desses. Vou usar esse como quadrado central e adicionar bordas.

GREEN CARDIE

Since everybody liked the Little Lamb
I created for the

Pink Blanket, I decided to make a theme of it.

The green cardie was already finished, but it received

a new touch. A Little Lamb aplique, embroidered

with pink silk DMC thread. It definitely added more charm
and a girly like look it.

The Little Lamb came out very cute.

And ... the quilt is coming along very slowly....

All those little pieces sure take up a lot of

energy and require quite some attention to detail,

which, I have to confess, don't come very

easy to me.

NOSSO GRUPO DE PATCHWORK

Calcular tamanhos de quadradinhos,

cortar retinho,

passar pela máquina de costura (ai ai)

passar as costuras...

quem acha que é simples e fácil,

está enganado.

É preciso concentração e neurônios de Pós-graduação...rs

Mas, as meninas estão empenhadas.

outras que nunca viram uma máquina de costura

mas no final a gente até se diverte !
